CONDITION GREEN   (EC map is BRIGHT YELLOW)

A Severe Weather Watch for our area of responsibility has been issued by Environment Canada.

This is the most relaxed phase of the net. Check ins are accepted with or without weather reports.

CONDITION YELLOW   (EC map is RED, or YELLOW with Tornadoes)

A Severe Weather Warning, Severe Thunderstorm Warning or a Tornado Watch have been issued for our area of responsibility by Environment Canada.

During Condition Yellow, only check ins who have pertinent weather information will be invited to call in. The net must operate under more strict guidelines while at this level of alert.

At this time, we are looking for reports of hail, damaging winds, wall clouds, funnel clouds, tornadoes, or unusual weather events.

  CONDITION RED   (Very serious alert)

A Tornado Warning has been issued for our area of responsibility by Environment Canada.

The net operates under very strict control. Only reports of actual tornadoes, funnel clouds or wall clouds will be accepted. All stations with lower priority calls must stand by until invited to call in.

NOTE: When you see an area on the Environment Canada map which is GREEN, it indicates that a WATCH or WARNING has ended for that area.
